I just finished reading an article from the Boston Globe about the conservative shift in my community. The author pointed out that Lawrence is an “overwhelmingly Democratic city” and I would agree with that assessment. The author goes on to point out the fact that the percentage of Trump voters went from 15% (2016) to 25% (2020). The author and those she interviewed, attributed this shift toward conservatism to Lawrence being “a city with a solid religious conservative base that has prioritized … [Read more...] about Election 2020: What’s the Problem
October Prayer Letter
Dear Praying Friends, The last month and a half has been an exciting time in our ministry. We broke our last attendance record of 26 with 32 people attending one of our Sunday services. This was just for an average Sunday service without any kind of special promotion. Since then, our average attendance has gone from 15-18 to 24-26 people attending each week. Please pray for some who have been faithfully attending our service and still have not yet accepted Christ. We have about 4 people … [Read more...] about October Prayer Letter
August 2020 Update
Dear Praying Friends, The last couple of months have been full of activity and excitement at Community Baptist Church. Since our last update we have seen another person saved. Tyler accepted Christ on his front porch several weeks ago and is now being discipled. The growth we have seen in Tyler’s life has been exciting. Please pray for him as he continues to grow in his walk with the Lord. In our last letter we told you about Ericka — a young lady that Lindsey was able to lead to the … [Read more...] about August 2020 Update
What Coronavirus Means for Community Baptist

We praise the Lord for the many … [Read more...] about What Coronavirus Means for Community Baptist
Busy New Year
We trust that you had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. It has been a while since our last update and a lot has happened. Since God called us to the Boston area we have been praying for a family to work with us in starting the church. Ryan and Abi Baker are called to be missionaries to Chile but had been praying for more ministry experience be- fore launching out as missionaries. With Lawrence being a heavily Spanish speaking area, it is a great fit for them to be a help to us and for … [Read more...] about Busy New Year
New Baby and Opportunities to Come See Her!
Dear Praying Friends, Thank you so much for your prayers and support! We have had a busy couple of months. On October 8th, at 4:30 am, after a very quick labor, Lucy Charlotte Stelzig was born, weighing 7 lbs and 13 oz, and measuring 20 inches long. Lindsey is recovering well and we actually feel like this has been the easiest postpartum so far. Lucy is a very easy baby, rarely crying and eating and sleeping well. Gabe and Ellie have adjusted much better than we had expected. … [Read more...] about New Baby and Opportunities to Come See Her!
