In my last post I discussed that one of the reasons we fail to see the United States as a legitimate mission field is that so many believers in this country are not aware of the needs that exist and where those needs exist and we cannot pray for laborers to reach a harvest field that we don't know exists. If you missed the previous post I encourage you to read it here. The first reason I gave for our not seeing the US as a legitimate mission field is our ignorance of the need. The second … [Read more...] about America: The Misunderstood Mission-field? (Part 2)
Ministry Updates
EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT!
I apologize for taking so long to get this latest update out. We were recently in Staten Island, NYC, had our van broken into and our computer as well as some other items stolen. As the result of the Lord’s provision and the giving heart of His people we have been able to recoup the items that we most necessary to our ministry. So, we praise the Lord for how He unexpectedly provided a new computer and tablet for us! An additional blessing was that I had just backed up all of our pictures and … [Read more...] about EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT!
America: The Missed Mission Field? (Part 1)
As a missionary family on deputation, one of our goals is to help people see the need of the field to which God has called us. WV Flood Relief
Thank you for your continued prayers and support. We are so excited about how the Lord continues to provide. We have just reached 22% of our needed support and have a full schedule through December. Would you please continue to pray for safety as we travel and for wisdom as we present our ministry in churches, that the Lord might work in the hearts of the churches we are in, to support the ministry to which He has called us? The month of June was very eventful for us. We had the privilege to … [Read more...] about WV Flood Relief
Back in New England!
Partners in Ministry, As I write this letter there are about 4 inches of snow on the ground here in New England. Lindsey is used to this kind of weather, but I am not. Growing up spring was like a mild summer rather than a mild winter. We were excited if it snowed 4 inches all year. After being in the South for February and March we had to dig out all of our long sleeved clothing when we got back in New England this past week. The Lord has been so good to us since our last prayer update. … [Read more...] about Back in New England!
Prayer Update February 2016
Dear Praying Friends, Since our last prayer letter many exciting things have happened. We have been in 19 different churches, driven over 8,000 miles, and the Lord has provided nine more percent of our needed financial support. This brings us to 15% of our needed support. We praise the Lord that in traveling as far north as the Canadian border and as far south as Oklahoma He has kept us safe. Watching the Lord provide has by far been the most exciting part of full- time deputation. We are … [Read more...] about Prayer Update February 2016
