Praying Friends,
We have been busy over the past few weeks! During April, Nick did daily door to door visiting for most of the day every day with an evangelist in the area who took a month of his schedule to help Lifeline Baptist Church with outreach. Nick was surprised with the good reception that they received, and ended up with several good contacts with which to follow up.
Also in April, Nick’s brother and sister in law and their 2 children got to visit us and we enjoyed showing them around Boston. This will be our last time seeing them for several years as this month they leave for their mission field in North West Territories, Canada. At the end of April, we traveled to two churches for their missions conferences. They were a big blessing to us but we are happy to be home again!
Nick finished up the discipleship program he was going through with a man in the church and was very encouraged by his growth.
This month will continue to be busy with one more mission conference and Lindsey’s sister’s wedding. This summer, Nick will be preaching a Wednesday night series and we will be in charge of VBS as Pastor DiGiacomo will be on a mission trip to Scotland that week.
We realized that we forgot to mention in our last prayer letter that we are expecting another baby! Lindsey is due on October 7th, and we just found out that we are having a baby girl. Please pray for a healthy pregnancy and an easy and safe delivery.
We are very excited that this month, Gabe made a profession of salvation. We’ve been very cautious with him, as we want to be sure he understands and is not just praying a prayer. Gabe has been asking many questions, and one night as we were driving the questions turned into his accepting the Lord as his Savior. Please pray for wisdom for us as we continue to raise our children to love and serve God.
At the end of the summer, we will really begin to phase out of the ministry at Lifeline, as we will be looking to move into the city at the beginning of next year. We will be using that time to find an apartment and a meeting place, make contacts, and start Bible studies.
Thank you so much for your prayers and support!
Thank you Nick for your recent prayer letter. Congratulations on your forthcoming little girl. How wonderful that will be! Sounds like things are going well in the Lord is truly blessing.
Greetings to the Stelzigs, may God bless you all as you serve Him with your whole heart,
I rejoice that God is blessing you with another baby and will pray that mom and baby will both be healthy and the delivery easy! I also pray for your brother that is going to Canada! I knew that there was a connection with the name but didn’t know that you were brothers! I will keep all of you in prayers for that is my duty to do for you all and I will keep it up until we all hear the “SHOUT”!!!!!!!!!!! Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!!!!!!!! Even so come Lord Jesus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you for the update! It’s exciting to hear how God is working in your ministry.
It is so heart warming and encouraging to hear all that God is doing in y’all’s ministry and in your lives❣️
Praise the Lord for such a great salvation, there is no doubt that as y’all sever the Lord and live for him that your children will have a blessed example to grow live there by .💕
In prayer on every thought of y’all.
Dear Nick and Lindsey, Congrats on the new baby! God is so good. We pray that the pregnancy will go well and that you’ll have a healthy, strong little girl. It is thrilling to hear that Gabe is responding to the Lord’s leading. May he continue to seek the Lord and grow in grace.
Bless your upcoming apt. hunting and all the exciting ways that the Lord continues to lead you there in Boston. Love in Christ,
