Dear Praying Friends,
Thank you so much for your prayers and support! We have had a busy couple of months. On October 8th, at 4:30 am, after a very quick labor, Lucy Charlotte Stelzig was born, weighing 7 lbs and 13 oz, and measuring 20 inches long. Lindsey is recovering well and we actually feel like this has been the easiest postpartum so far.
Lucy is a very easy baby, rarely crying and eating and sleeping well. Gabe and Ellie have adjusted much better than we had expected. Ellie is very excited about her baby sister and likes to be a big helper with her. Gabe pretends to be a little more aloof but is probably equally as excited about a new baby sister.
We have continued to have our weekly prayer meetings, but we have moved them to Monday nights in the building we will rent! We are planning to begin mid week services sometime after the new year, and our first Sunday service will be May 3.
We are also excited about the opportunity we have to hold a tent/open air meeting in a park in Lawrence on August 12-15, 2020. The Lord has given us grace in the eyes of the city officials and we have been assured that to get permits and needed city approval will be no problem. One official said, “You all are doing the Lord’s work, we are going to take care of you.” This is practically unheard of for any part of the country but it is miraculous for a city official in Massachusetts to have that attitude. By God’s gracious provision, the cost for permits has been waived as well.
The plan for the tent meeting is to have an evangelistic Vacation Bible School each morning at 10am-1pm. In the evenings we will have public evangelistic services. On Saturday (Aug 15) we will have an evangelistic teen rally. We have a number of evangelists who will be coming to help us with this effort. Please pray for this effort that many souls would be saved and that God would use it to build His church.
We are excited about what the Lord is going to do in Lawrence in the coming months as we start Community Baptist Church. Several of our supporting churches have expressed an interest in bringing groups up to help us as we start Community Baptist. If this is something your church is interested in, now is the time to begin planning. We would love to have groups come up to help with canvasing the area. We will have 15,000 John and Romans/information packets to pass out. Our goal is to get the bulk of that done in April-June 2020. We could also use help during and leading up to the tent meeting. My desire is to hit the same 15,000 homes again with invitations to the tent meetings between July and the start of the meeting. These tasks are going to require a significant amount of work and manpower.
If your church is interested in bringing a group to help us with these projects in April-August 2020, please contact me ASAP so that we can begin planning for your group.
Thank you again for your faithful prayers and support of our ministry. We have been reminded time and again over the last several months of the effectiveness of God’s people praying for our ministry.

Hello, Nick and Lindsey! This is the first time to visit your website, and I had no idea of what has been going on with you. A new baby and a new church start – WOW, and praise the Lord! God is opening doors for you!. It is very exciting to hear about the meetings in Lawrence next summer. Bible school/clubs are such a great way to reach families through the children, and we will pray for much fruit from your efforts. May the Lord keep you strong spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically!
