Dear Praying Friends,
The two months since our last prayer letter have been very eventful! It has been so exciting to watch the Lord provide for us since quitting my full-time job. The Lord has provided more through His people and their willingness to give to His ministry than I made in a month while working a full-time job. This is a particular blessing as the months of December and January can be slow months for missionaries on deputation. We were nervous about giving up a steady pay-check to start full-time deputation but the Lord has proved Himself faithful, as he always does. I am reminded of my life verse Matthew 6:33, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
The move from Newport News, VA to Weare, NH went very smoothly. We are thankful for Bro. Arnold Whorley’s willingness to move all of our things at the cost of fuel. This was such a blessing and a help to our ministry. We are also blessed to have dear friends at Maranatha Baptist Church in Yorktown, VA and Village Chapel Baptist Church in Weare, NH to help us with the packing and unpacking of the truck. Bro. Whorley commented that of the dozens of moves he has helped with, ours was one of the smoothest and this no doubt a result of God’s people being willing to serve and your prayers for us as we moved.
In November we drove almost 3,000 miles and were in 6 different churches without any accidents or major repairs needing to be done to our vehicle. We know that this is in large part because God’s people have been praying for our safety.
We ask that you would continue to remember to pray for safety as we travel as our safety while driving is a greater concern with the threat of icy road conditions that the winter brings. We also appreciate your continued prayers that the Lord would provide the support we need to be in Boston quickly as it is our desire to get busy reaching Bostonians as soon as possible.
