Thank you for your prayers for us as we hit the road again after Ellie's birth. While it has been an adjustment traveling with a new baby, we have really had a wonderful time on the road since she was born. We started traveling outside of the New England area in the beginning of July when we had meetings in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia and North Carolina, and this month we are in north western Pennsylvania. We were blessed to be able to be in one of our supporting churches where we learned … [Read more...] about Flat Tire, Strep Throat, and a Future Missionary
You're probably wondering about the free donut. Well, I sent a physical copy of our prayer letter by mail to each of the churches in which we have presented our ministry. If you look closely at this update and the letter we sent to your church you will notice 4 differences in the body of the physical letter and this update. If you send an email or private Facebook message and tell me what those differences are, we will send you a $5 gift card to Dunkin Donuts so you can enjoy a cup of coffee or … [Read more...] about New baby and maybe a free donut for you!
Dear Praying Friends, Thank you for your continued prayers and support. We are so excited about how the Lord continues to provide. The Lord gave us safety, even when we had a tire blowout while we were driving down the highway. This past weekend, we enjoyed visiting … [Read more...] about Merry Christmas!
This week brings us to the one year mark of deputation. It has been so exciting to reflect on how God has proved Himself faithful through the last year. I can recall being very nervous about what the future would hold as Lindsey and I made the decision to quit my full-time job with benefits and not renew a lease on our apartment with only $550 per month of promised support. I remember the Lord using my life verse, Matthew 6:33, to confirm that, although we couldn't see how He would provide, He … [Read more...] about A Full Year of God’s Provision on Deputation!
In my last post I discussed that one of the reasons we fail to see the United States as a legitimate mission field is that so many believers in this country are not aware of the needs that exist and where those needs exist and we cannot pray for laborers to reach a harvest field that we don't know exists. If you missed the previous post I encourage you to read it here. The first reason I gave for our not seeing the US as a legitimate mission field is our ignorance of the need. The second … [Read more...] about America: The Misunderstood Mission-field? (Part 2)
