We have had a busy fall! Nick is still preaching a couple times a week, and this Thursday he is starting at the church’s new ministry to teen boys at the local juvenile detention center. The young men are there for anywhere from 1-30 days. Some of the men from the church go over every Thursday and attempt to build relationships and share the Gospel with them. This ministry started out slow, but we’ve seen real progress and last week one of the boys got saved! A few weeks ago, Nick got the … [Read more...] about Merry Christmas!
Weddings, English Class, and Prison
We have been busy over the past few weeks! Since our last prayer letter Nick has started teaching Teen Sunday School, and on Wednesday nights we teach the 3-5 year old class. The 3-5 year old age group is definitely a challenge but we’re really enjoying it! Gabe is in that class, and it is interesting to observe how he acts in a class with other kids his age. Nick and Pastor DiGiacomo and two other men from the church are beginning a ministry at a juvenile detention center nearby. They will … [Read more...] about Weddings, English Class, and Prison
Geraldine and a Leaky Tub (Just read it. It will make sense.)
We have been busy over the past few weeks! We traveled to North Carolina for our mission board’s family fellowship week and it was a huge blessing! Since we have been back at Lifeline, Nick has been preaching several times a week between church and nursing homes. He is also preparing to start visitation in the more urban side of Haverhill. Nick was recently preaching at one of the nursing homes and had the … [Read more...] about Geraldine and a Leaky Tub (Just read it. It will make sense.)

However, we have sent physical copies of each update to all of the churches that we have been in during our deputation. If you are a pastor, a church staff member, or you … [Read more...] about Some bad news (it’s late) but also some GREAT news!

We’re Not in Kansas Anymore. . .
Dear Praying Friends, Thank you for your prayers for us as we traveled the farthest west we’ve been on deputation! We traveled out to Kansas, stopping on the way in Tennessee and Oklahoma, and on the way back we stopped in Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky and Pennsylvania. We had a really wonderful month while we were in Kansas. At one of our meetings, two young men were there on a work release program from jail and both were convicted of their sin during the message and accepted Christ … [Read more...] about We’re Not in Kansas Anymore. . .
